La Chiesa di San Giuseppe si trova nell’omonima via, nel cuore di Jatrinoli. Edificata nel corso del XVIII secolo, la chiesa da moltissimi anni non è aperta al culto pubblico.
L’interno della chiesa è caratterizzato da una navata unica con abside semicircolare sopraelevata su due gradini, preceduta da un transetto continuo. La navata è divisa in tre campate da archi a tutto sesto, con colonne ioniche che sorreggono la struttura.
L’altare maggiore è situato nell’abside, mentre lungo le pareti laterali si trovano cappelle laterali dedicate a vari santi.
L’illuminazione interna è garantita da finestre poste lungo le pareti laterali e da una grande finestra rotonda sulla facciata principale.
Church of Saint Joseph of Jatrinoli
The Church of Saint Joseph is located on the street of the same name, in the heart of Jatrinoli. Built during the 18th century, the church has not been open for public worship for many years.
The interior consists of a single nave with a semicircular apse raised on two steps, preceded by a continuous transept. The nave is divided into three bays by round arches supported by Ionic columns.
The main altar is located in the apse, while along the side walls there are chapels dedicated to various saints.
The interior is illuminated by windows set along the lateral walls and a large circular window on the main façade.
